ComedySportz is L.A.’s longest running show for good reason – it’s
fun, friendly and skillful. Our acclaimed company brings this same
approach to ComedySportz University with a focus on skill-building and
fun.
We provide a safe environment where
participants are encouraged to take chances and stretch their skills.
Improvisation classes are taught in three levels, and include a showcase at the Senior level. We also offer "Cram Sessions" in both basic improv and specialty topics. Adult improv classes are for those 17 and above. You can find out more about our programs for kids by clicking the links at the left.
Stand-up comedy classes are taught several times per year by professional comedian Tom Clark. This class also includes a showcase.
Master classes are taught throughout the year by master teachers from across the country. Each year we offer intensives in everything from scenework to characters to musical improv. Participants in these classes should be experienced improvisers with no less than 5 years experience.
The Rec League is just like a bowling or kickball league in that it's played for fun. Teams of improvisers play ComedySportz on our mainstage in three seasons throughout the year.
