Cancer Benefit at Our Theatre Raises Over $2500
Breast Cancer Be Trippin is a recurring comedy benefit show, put together by our very own Eddie Quintana. On Wednesday, February 24, 9:00pm, many stars came out to the National Comedy Theatre to perform for the benefit. Including musical and YouTube sensations Garfunkel & Oates, Whitney Cummings, Natasha Leggero and Heather McDonald from Chelsea Lately, Tig Notaro (The Sarah Silverman Program), Megan Mooney and CSz's very own Cat Davis.
Unfortunately, Sarah Silverman was sick and could not perform at the event. But the show still sold out, was a huge success and raised over $2500 in donations. All proceeds go toward providing mammograms for uninsured women.
If you were unable to attend the event, you can still help the cause buy going to http://breastcancerbetrippin.com and making a donation to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

ComedySportz Player on The Huffington Post and Deadline Hollywood
This week, ComedySportz player Andre Meadows was featured this week on two very popular media blogs, The Huffington Post and Deadline Hollywood, for a video he made for his website BlackNerdComedy.com and partner site Comedy.com. We warn you, the video is "TV-14" in nature as it deals with a sensitive subject (not to mention spoilers to Lost and Heroes), so check it out at your discretion. But we are proud of Andre for this awesome accomplishment!

A CSz Brain helps CBS's Survivor: Tocantins
ComedySportz gamester Myles Nye created the immunity challenge on the Thursday, 2/26 episode at 8 pm! Here's a description of the challenge:
"A CRATE IDEA"
TYPE: Tribal immunity/reward challenge
CHALLENGE: One seeing member directs a team of blindfolded tribe mates around a roped in field, where they retrieve 8 cubes, each one 4x4 feet. Once they have successfully brought them all within a roped circle and set them down on a mat, the caller now directs a second team of blindfolded tribe mates on how to assemble them. To correctly complete the puzzle, the cubes must be stacked in two separate 2x2 piles with all faces of the same color facing outward. What's more, each colored face has a 4-part design painted on it that must be upright so there is only 1 correct way to solve it. The caller has to direct his team mates on how to turn, rotate, and stack the cubes. They may only begin work on the second stack after completing the first one, to allow the opportunity for a catch-up.
Congratulations, Myles!
